Installation of Non-paint Doors

(I)  Measurement
      Width of door surface=width of door leaf + allowance for door leaf+ width of door pocket
      Width of door opening=width of door leaf + allowance for door leaf+ thickness of doorframe main board + doorframe fitting allowance
      1. Measurement of door opening (accurate to 1mm)
      Width of door opening: Select at least five measuring points and take the horizontal measurement of the distance between the left and right sides of the opening, and then the minimum (minus the doorframe fitting allowance) value will be the size of the door outer edge.
      Height of door opening: Select at least three measuring points and take the vertical  measurement of the distance between the upper and bottom sides of the opening, and then the minimum (minus the doorframe fitting allowance) value will be the size of the door outer edge.
      Note: 1. When taking the measurements, the situation of ground treatment should be considered and an allowance for ground decoration materials should be prepared in advance.
           2. Wall thickness of door opening: Select at least three measuring points and take the horizontal measurement of the wall thickness and the maximum value will be the thickness of the wall. If the wall will be decorated in the future, then the thickness of decorative materials should be added to the wall thickness of door opening.
 
      2. Measurement of door leaf (accurate to 1mm)
      Door leaf=opening of doorframe-allowance
      Width of door leaf: Select at least five measuring points and measure the opening breadthwise, and then the minimum (minus the allowance) value will be the width of door leaf;
      Height of door leaf: Select at least three measuring points and measure the opening lengthways, and then the minimum (minus the allowance) value will be height of door leaf;
      Note: 1. When taking the measurements, the situation of ground treatment should be considered and an allowance for ground decoration materials should be prepared in advance.Height of door leaf＜Height of door opening（the difference is 5～10mm）.
           2. Thickness of door leaf: It should be matching with that of the door frame, in other words, it should be less than or equal to the distance from the door frame fringe to the cover board.
 
(II) Preparation before installation
      1. Door leaf, door frame should be separately piled up on backing boards;
      2. Storage with acidic or alkaline substances is strictly forbidden. The storage place should be clean, dry and drafty;
      3. Place the components on shelves in a room and keep them away from heat sources to prevent deformation.
      4. Make work site inspection. Clear up the work area and check the conformity of door opening or doorframe allowances against design requirements.
      5. Confirm the installation specifications and check the amount of product and components required for installation;
      6. Prepare tools for installation and read Instruction for Installation.
 
 III. Installation
      1. Test the vertical and horizontal measurements and thickness of the wall with professional tools to get the unconformities and draw auxiliary lines thereof;
      2. Perform simulated installation of door frame components and draw auxiliary lines correspondingly for the locations of installation on the wall;
      3. Adjust the vertical and horizontal positions of the doorframe parts to be fixed and then fix them;
      4. Install the rest doorframe parts and, in the order”from inside to outside”, adjust the goodness of fit, paying attention to the levelness and verticality of each main board;
      5. Fix all the doorframe parts and make general adjustment;
      6. Set locations for hinges according to actual circumstances. Mark the corresponding points on the door leaf and leave proper allowances;
      7. Make grooves of 2~3mm in the door leaf and tighten the hinges with screws provided;
      8. Fixed the door leaf to the installation location temporarily and adjust it to the accurate position, then mark the positions where hinges will be fixed on the doorframe;
      9. Fit hinges onto the doorframe, connect them with door leaf and then fix the hinges;

      10. Fit the keyhole box and box cover.
